Slash commands

Every interactive surface in Mercury is a slash command. The catalogue below is the built artifact's own effective catalogue, grouped the way /help groups it.

Discovery commands

  • /help: Browses every command.
  • /palette: Fuzzy-searches the live command roster.
  • /surfaces: Indexes every discoverable surface.

Command groups

To browse the command catalogue, follow these steps:

  1. Enter /help in the chat.

Mercury shows every command, grouped by domain.

Search the command roster

To search the command roster, follow these steps:

  1. Enter /palette in the chat.

Mercury opens a fuzzy search over the live roster.

Return pointer control to the terminal

To return pointer control to the terminal, follow these steps:

  1. Enter /mouse off.

The terminal receives pointer input for native selection and copying, and Mercury saves the choice for later boots.

The Mouse capture row in /config shows the same setting.
