• Added Samples, off by default: ask the model to show you something and it opens a page in your browser; mark it up, and your marks come back into the chat; every version is kept; the Boot Menu's Samples row turns it on
• Changed computer use to be on by default where the desktop driver is present; the ask offers one-hour and 24-hour grants and a sovereign mode that stops the asks; the Boot Menu turns it off
• Changed the stream watchdog: the "may be stuck" notice waits five minutes, a silent Anthropic connection is redialled after two, OpenAI keeps fifteen, and waits of a minute or more are shown in minutes
• Fixed the status row calling a stream stuck while the provider's heartbeats were still arriving
• Fixed `mercury update` inside a Homebrew or npm install installing a second copy the shell never runs; it now names the command that updates that install, and the doctor says which `mercury` your shell runs
• Fixed the composer's mouse: a click lands on the character under it, a drag selects the typed words and never the frame, and two clicks select everything
• Fixed notices under the composer pushing it up; they now ride the hint line
• Fixed frames at a large window costing about three times what they should: the renderer remembers the slices of clipped lines, with nothing on screen changed
• Fixed a new chat on a busy machine booting its session runner twice
