Mercury CLI

Notes

Le Chonk, Nous Portal and a busy machine

· by @dubsthedev

I added Mistral after seeing Le Chonk, their new Large 4, and hearing about them from someone, so it felt like time to support their API keys. I haven't given it a proper go yet, but I'm looking forward to loading up some credits and seeing how good the chonk actually is. OpenCode Zen went in alongside it.

Nous Portal came from hearing a lot of talk about the Hermes agent. I wanted to try it out, and I got curious about how their service works with Mercury. A Nous Portal key now connects the Portal's model gateway, so someone with a Hermes agent account can use that one key in Mercury instead of keeping a key for every provider, and the usage view shows the plan and the credits left.

There is also a fix for a slow or busy machine losing a session that was fine. It never actually bit me, but I thought it might on my Mac, so it is sorted: a session now gets to finish starting instead of being ended after ten seconds.

The rest of the release, including a headless image for CI and servers, is in the release notes.
