Consolidating the recent changes
A few new changes have landed in this update, but it's mostly consolidation and fixes after the bigger feature changes. I'm quite excited for beta.35, but without further ado, live model discovery means Mercury checks your signed-in providers and chooses from the models they actually offer instead of guessing names. In theory, this should save context and time and help sessions running autonomously reach for the right model more often when you specify one. Searching for a model or visiting another session no longer changes your preferred model, and a shell command changing folders no longer moves the whole session.
Sovereign mode is also running a lot better. "All tool calls approved" now fully means all tool calls approved. I do caution those of you using it to stick with frontier models you trust and save older models for Flow mode, where the same kind of autonomous work can be done with more approval checks. Oversized facts are now refused whole, and key- or password-shaped entries are rejected before they are saved to memory. This wasn't really an issue, but we found edge cases where less capable models might try to save them, so it is now enforced by the memory system itself.
